What other regular monthly activities take place at  The Welfare and Len Evans?

  • The Welfare and Len Evans are home to The Aberkenfig Welfare Bowls Club and to the Glamorgan Family History Society – both rent spaces from the Association and the bowls club have been part of the Welfare since the 1940s.
  • The University of the Third Age  U3A History group meet at the Len Evans Centre from 2.00 to 4.00 the second Monday of the month.
  • The University of the Third Age (U3A) meet at the Len Evans Centre from 2.00 to 4.00 the third Monday of the month
  • The Glamorgan Family History Society have events at the Len Evans Centre at 7.30 the third Monday of the month
  • The Aberkenfig Bonsai Club meets at the Len Evans Centre from 10.30 to 11.30 the first Wednesday of the month.
  • The Aberkenfig Ladies Friendship Association (ALFA) meets at the Len Evans Centre from 2 to 4 the second Wednesday of the month.
  • People First meet at the Len Evans Centre 9.30 to 2.30 on Thursday once a month
